![]() nor is booting into the operating system at all. then say that you are using it for Android Studio debugging.ĪDB enable is not actually required for flashing these phones. but if you want them to keep taking you seriously about NEEDING an Unlockable Bootloader. Then call them and say "the warranty agreement states that you must repair or replace my phone with a functionally equivalent device, since I bought the phone for it's ability to connect with ADB and the Android Studio for booting custom builds, obviously the RMA locked device you sent me is not Equivalent." They don't care if you root your phone, or what you do with it. Keep YOUR broken phone and send back the RMA that is not going to unlock when you get it. You can keep getting RMA replacements over and over again, just don't keep the Replacement broken phone that they sent you. I sincerely hope it doesn't happen to you, but most likely you're all about to be holding Locked bootloader phones. but the refurbishing plant is breaking ALL of these phones by flashing some generic image to all versions of the phone. ![]() Every single replacement RMA phone that I have been getting from google have been google pixel 2's with v67 bootloader and "fastboot flashing get unlock_ability" = 1. ![]()
